Attention training
Move your focus through sound in 3D space.
Heed guides you through a short sound introduction and twelve minutes of Attention Training Technique (ATT) practice: several sounds sit around you — left and right, near and far — and a calm voice steers your focus between them.

The method
A session moves through three phases.
- 01 Selective attention ≈ 5 min Rest your attention on a single sound, and keep it there.
- 02 Attention switching ≈ 5 min Rapidly move your focus from one sound to the next, on cue.
- 03 Divided attention ≈ 2 min Open up, and hold every sound at the same time.
See it
Watch a whole session, start to finish.
A real session recorded straight from the app — six sounds introduced by name, then the three phases, nothing edited out.
Guided by voice
A calm voice guides every phase.
Sessions are fully narrated: each sound is named, each switch is cued. You always know where your attention should be — getting it there is the practice.
Sound Mix
A fresh arrangement for each session.
Sound Mix draws a fresh set from your library and repositions everything for each session, creating many possible sound and layout combinations.
Scenes
A library of crafted soundscapes.
Practice inside a place — a campfire at night, a busy kitchen, rain on a forge. Each scene is carefully designed to be an immersive place to train.
Progress
Watch how your practice changes over time.
A simple record keeps your sessions, minutes and ratings in one place so you can review your practice over time.
Grounded in research
Built around the science of ATT.
The Attention Training Technique was developed by clinical psychologist Adrian Wells, first described in a published paper in 1990 and studied ever since. Heed follows the published protocol's shape — three phases, simultaneous sounds, spatial placement — and is honest about what the research does and doesn't say.
